Ankita has a passion for helping people regain physical function and return to sport or work. She has worked in many musculoskeletal private practices in rural Queensland and Brisbane. Originally from Mumbai, Ankita now calls Brisbane home.
Ankita has a strong background in orthopaedic, cardio-respiratory and neurological disorders having worked in acute, subacute and outpatient services, giving her an excellent understanding of the challenges that patients face living with these chronic diseases.
Ankita has gained diverse knowledge working with the Podiatrists before relocating to Australia which gave her the understanding of biomechanics of lower limb along with functional and physical therapy intervention.
She has also completed a post graduate diploma in Exercise and Wellness from Canada, where she developed special interest in Pain management, injury prevention and post-op orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Clinic work remains a real passion for Ankita, as she enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds and gaining new experiences and knowledge from every individual patient she treats.
