Dr Imran Kajani

Dr. Imran obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Western Australia in 2007. Following his graduation, he gained valuable experience by working in multiple emergency departments across Australia and New Zealand. He later returned to his hometown of Adelaide to complete his Fellowship with The Royal Australia College of General Practitioners in 2017.  Dr. Imran possesses a comprehensive understanding of general practice and takes pleasure in providing holistic care to his patients. His main interests are in the management of chronic disease, men’s health, and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr Marisa Rebula

Dr Rebula graduated from UQ in 2000. Dr Rebaula has a special interest in women’s health and all aspects of General Practice. Dr Rebula consults Wednesday and Fridays.

Dr Simon Chong MBCHB PG DIP SPORTS MEDICINE FRACGP

Dr Simon Chong is a generalist with interest in all aspects of general practice including skin cancer. He is a graduate of Otago University, NZ and has a Post Grad Diploma in Sports Medicine and was proud to be a volunteer medic at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He is also CASA qualified to perform aviation, pilot medicals. Dr Chong consult Monday- Friday.

Dr May Tsai

Dr May is a local QLD medical graduate.  She has worked as a Resident and Registrar Medical Officer in Toowoomba Base and The Prince Charles Hospitals in Queensland; Westmead and Blacktown hospitals in Sydney.

She undertook further training in general practice in NSW and gained the fellowship of Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners (RACGP) with special interests in Cardiovascular disease, Respiratory Medicine, Dermatology, General Paediatrics, Pre-employment Medical/ Q fever vaccination and Travel consult including Yellow fever vaccination.

She performs full skin checks and surgical procedures for skin cancer excisions and iron infusion for patients with iron deficiency.

She provides Women’s Health care: contraception Implanon, IUD removal, Antenatal care, Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT), Gender Care, Medical Termination of unwanted Pregnancy (MTOP), sexual health & HIV PrEP prescribing.

Outside of working hours, she enjoys swimming, Pilates, travelling and spending time with her family.

In addition to English, Dr Tsai is also fluent Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese dialect.

Dr May TSAI has gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Nima Ranatunga

Dr Nima Ranatunga graduated from James Cook University in 2018. She completed her hospital training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in a variety of medical and surgical wards, before moving to Toowoomba and obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023.

She loves all aspects of general practice, and is passionate about working collaboratively with patients to educate, empower, and provide holistic health care. She has particular interest in skin cancer which has led to her undertaking further education in this area. She also enjoys women’s and children’s health and preventative health.

Outside of work, Nima spends her time trying out new recipes, playing ukulele, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Ben Smith

Dr. Ben Smith was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland. He received his medical degree from the prestigious University of Queensland, as well as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and later interned at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. His post graduate training in Skin Cancer has consisted of Certificates and Diplomas in both Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Various other courses for specific surgical techniques have been completed. He has been in practice over 10 years and is accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Whilst in the hospital system Dr. Smith taught junior doctors and currently supervises peers in areas of Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy. Dr. Smith practices evidence-based medicine and has always believed the relationship between doctor and patient contributes significantly to the quality of care delivered and received and has built his practice on this fundamental belief.

Dr Danielle Hume
Dr Danielle Hume
Dr Danielle received her medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2015. She completed her hospital internship with Ballarat Hospital, before working across a number of metropolitan Melbourne hospitals. Danielle was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in February of 2020 and has been working in a busy Melbourne clinic since. Originally from the Gold Coast, Danielle and her husband Sean are excited to return to Queensland in 2023 to be nearer to family and sunshine!
Danielle loves being a GP. She especially enjoys the unique opportunity to form lasting connections with her patients and their families. She has a particular interest in children’s health, preventative care across all ages and mental health including eating disorder care. Danielle offers inclusive care, including the option of working within a Health At Every Size (HAES) framework to support every body in accessing high quality and respectful medical care.
Dr Zelle Hodge
